Trouble-Free Maintenance

Like any filter, the retrofit particle filter from Volvo requires some maintenance, but dismantling and replacing the ceramic filter is very easy and the whole procedure takes no more than 30 minutes. Filters need to be cleaned once a year on average, depending on the driving conditions, but with the in cab monitoring system the driver is alerted when the filter needs to be cleaned.
