A. Service description
A1. The Parts Online service and web site have been established by Volvo Trucks ("Volvo") as a forum to facilitate the purchase of spare parts and other products ("Parts") by Volvo customers through the Volvo's authorized dealer network.
A2. By using the Parts Online service a customer will have access to a complete catalogue of Genuine Volvo Parts and Accessories and will be able to send orders to a selected authorized Volvo dealer. The customer will also access online prices including customer discount and availability information from the selected dealer.
B. Registration at a dealer
B1. In order to use the Parts Online service a customer needs to be approved by an authorized Volvo dealer having concluded a Parts Online agreement with Volvo. The customer needs to have opened an account at this dealer with a negotiated credit limit and a negotiated delivery cost.
B2. A customer approved by a dealer as a Parts Online customer will get online price and availability information from this dealer and will be able to send orders direct to this dealer.
C. Parts Online dealer account
C1. This is the dealer's own decision to approve a customer as a Parts Online customer for its dealership. It is also the dealer's own decision to de-activate a customer's Parts Online dealer account or to delete it.
C2. No period of notice will apply to such a deactivation or deletion.
D. Sending orders to an authorized Volvo dealer using the Parts Online service
D1. An order sent to a dealer using the Parts Online service will be confirmed to the customer at reception of the order by the dealer's order system. This confirmation is only a confirmation that the order has been entered into the dealer order system and that an order number has been given to this order. This confirmation is not by any means a confirmation that the dealer will fulfill the order according to the information sent by the customer to the dealer using the Parts Online service. The dealer has the right to reject the whole order or any part of it or to change any part of this order such as prices, availabilities etc... In order to get a final confirmation of the order, the customer should contact the dealer.
