Damascus International Fair
The great success achieved by Damascus International Fair provoked the Syrian officials to launch the project of constructing the new fairground of International Fairs and Exhibitions. The golden jubilee of the Damascus International Fair was celebrated on the new fairground as the first event in September the 3rd 2003.

The new fairground is one of the most considerable in the world, spreading on 1,200,000 sqm. Total space of the built and open exhibition area is 130,000 sqm. There is a space of 50,000 sqm allotted to be directly built by the foreign and national companies' pavilions, in addition to stands for open exhibition.

A space of 35,000 sqm is allotted for visitor services, markets, postal offices, security centers, airline offices, customs, coffee shop healthcare and communication centers in addition to restaurant, gardens, green, spaces and alleys cover a space of 350,000sqm.
