Which technology will be used to achieve the Euro 4 and Euro 5 emission levels?

Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR). This technology is based on optimised combustion in the engine and an after-treatment system to bring down nitrogen oxide (NOx) levels. This after-treatment system requires injection of a water and urea solution called AdBlue. This is solved by fitting a separate tank containing AdBlue on the truck chassis.

SCR technology offers several advantages compared to the alternatives. Among the advantages:
- Well-proven and reliable technology.
- No limitations in horsepower output.
- The ability to also meet Euro 5 incentive emission levels from the start.
