More power with lower fuel consumption
The D13C offers higher power and more torque - and the results can be seen in terms of improved driveability. What is more, the new engine meets a higher emission standard with improved fuel efficiency. The new driveline - D13C in combination with the I-Shift transmission - has the potential to cut fuel consumption by 3% compared with its predecessor.

The D13C engine is a 12.8 litre, straight, 6-cylinder diesel engine with turbocharger and intercooler. The engine is available with a choice of power outputs, 420, 460, 500 and 540 hp.

With SCR engines meet Euro 5 norms. In addition, the engine is also available in an EEV (Enhanced Environmental friendly Vehicles) version producing 420, 460 and 500 hp, with even lower emissions of smoke and particulates.
