I-Shift


I-Shift is Volvo’s gearbox with automated gearchanging for all applications. Well known for fast gear shifting, it both increases driver comfort and reduces fuel consumption. Can be fitted with a power take-off or emergency power steering pump. For certain applications, an extra transmission oil cooler is available. I-Shift is manouevred from a stalk behind the steering wheel.

Manual gearboxes

The manual gearboxes are operated with servo assistance. The short gear lever, which is placed on the tunnel, is vibration-free and gear lever movement is short and crisp. The automatic transmission is operated via push-buttons. All gearboxes can be specified with a power take-off.
