The Volvo VISTA service skills competition is back – bringing together thousands of colleagues from all over the world, over four qualifying rounds and a high-octane final.
Workshop teams and service specialists are the beating heart of Volvo. They’re on hand to ensure your truck keeps on delivering, in every sense of the word: staying on the road and performing at its very best.
Working closely with the rest of their teams, they’re a major part of the reason the company has developed its reputation for outstanding customer service, as well as living up to the Volvo watchword of quality. And they’re essential for the lifetime promises we make our customers, too: proving that we’re here to help our customers throughout their journey, not just up until the moment we hand over the keys.
The annual Volvo VISTA competition has long recognised the vital importance of service teams and technicians, while also giving them a chance to put their skills to the test. Split over four rounds, it gives teams of Volvo technicians from around the world the chance to tackle challenges based on real support cases, using the most up-to-date and innovative diagnostic and learning tools.
In this kind of challenge, it’s not just how fast you work, but also how well you do it. Teams are encouraged - and enabled - to put all their skills and experience to the test, working together to solve tough challenges. But the experience is also about getting the chance to meet, watch and learn from your peers. And with teams entering from more than 100 countries, anyone who enters won’t just get the chance to find out how it’s done in other markets: they can also expand their networks and develop lasting friendships with colleagues from all over the world.
For VISTA 2026, as well as an all-new look and feel, the VISTA app – an integral part of the experience – has now been updated to include more bonus missions and gamification elements. There’s more of a focus on real-life customer cases rather than what-ifs, and heightened focus is on mixed teams with diverse arrays of disciplines, where technicians, parts specialists, warranty managers and customer service representatives join forces to tackle the challenges together – just like in the job itself.
VISTA lets everyone who takes part know exactly how they’re all part of something bigger – for Volvo, for our customers, and for their businesses. It lets you see exactly how your skills shape success; pass your own enthusiasm and experience on to others; and learn from people who feel the same pride in their work as you do. If you’re interested in competing, registration is open now. The competition starts on November 11th, but registration is possible until December 2nd: full details can be found on the VISTA website here.
