With urban skylines rapidly growing, so is noise and air pollution. The robust Volvo FMX Electric can deliver and retreat heavyweight material and machines also in sensitive parts of the city with as little disturbance as possible. And by that deliver on the demands from officials and residents for cleaner and quieter transports. To simplify the transition to electric transports, the truck is offered together with service and support packages for charging, route and range planning, battery monitoring and more.

Adding a Volvo electric truck to your operation is easy. You get access to constant truck monitoring and predictive service planning to secure uptime and deliveries. We have also added extra peace of mind through route planning, positioning with real-time energy status, follow up reports and more. All conveniently accessed and overviewed in the Volvo Connect portal and app. Right next to the other trucks and support functions.

Smooth and powerful driveline

Two or three electric motors, in combination with an I-Shift gearbox, give a very smooth driving experience. Six battery packs produce 490 kWh or corresponding 666 hp of total energy. The massive power is handled by an electromobility traction control system, mastering also slippery surfaces. Different drive modes are available to set the desired performance, comfort, and energy usage levels.
