CO2 neutral dealers

With solar power and other green energy alternatives Volvo Trucks is working to build CO2 neutral dealerships, carrying our environmental ideas through our entire operations.

The first CO2 neutral dealership was built in Verona, Italy, in 2008. With the help of solar panels on the roof of the building, more energy is produced than used. The surplus is sold as green energy.

A high standard in general
Although not all Volvo dealers and workshops are able to follow the Italian example within the near future, they all work according to our environmental requirements for dealers and towards the ISO 14001 standard. This means that they for example receive detailed instructions on how used oils and other fluids are to be handled.
