New possibilities for customers, the transport industry, and society will be at the heart of Volvo Trucks’ presence at the IAA 2026 exhibition in Hanover, Germany. The Volvo Trucks’ stand will showcase the full scope of the company’s trucks, technology, and services that can deliver the most value to customers – maximizing the return on their investment, boosting efficiency, and strengthening their business for the future.
Volvo will showcase its latest electric, gas, and diesel drivelines, that will support customers no matter where they are on their decarbonization journey. All while helping them thrive in their day-to-day operations and meet their productivity and uptime goals. Volvo will have eight trucks on display and a further seven trucks available to test-drive.
Test-drive Volvo’s electric truck with up to 700 km range
One of the highlights will be that test drives will start directly at the Volvo Trucks stand in hall 11.
Visitors will get the chance to test-drive the new Volvo FH Aero Electric with extended range up to 700 km, put the new, more fuel-efficient D13 engine through its paces, and even test the future hydrogen-powered combustion engine truck that will be launched before 2030.
President Roger Alm sees it as a great opportunity to bring customers and Volvo’s trucks together where it matters most: “With the test-driving track right by our stand, we want to show our new trucks and drivelines at their best – on the road!”
Complete business solutions
Highlights among Volvo’s complete business offering will include guidance on choosing the right driveline, how Volvo supports drivers’ safety and success, and the strength customers can gain in partnership with Volvo – from the right service contracts and the network of over 2,500 certified workshops and dealers – to financing and digital uptime services. Together with Volvo Trucks, customers will also see how to take their next step with alternative and renewable fuels, fueling or charging infrastructure, and how to achieve seamless operation of mixed fleets.
European market leader for two consecutive years
For two years in a row, 2024 and 2025, Volvo Trucks has been recognized as the market leader in Europe for heavy trucks (16 tonnes and above). A big part of this is the Volvo FH Aero, providing significantly improved aerodynamics and fuel efficiency, with more than 70,000 trucks now sold. Volvo’s battery-electric trucks have also just passed the milestone of 450 million kilometers driven. At the same time, Volvo’s trucks continue to receive the maximum 5-star safety rating from Euro NCAP – all seven trucks that have been tested until now have received five stars. 2026 brings new technological advances and launches to drive progress even further – and deliver more value to Volvo Trucks’ customers all over the world.
“We’re very proud and excited to have so much to show our customers and the transport industry,” says Roger Alm, President Volvo Trucks. “It’s the result of serious investment and our commitment to empowering drivers, customers, and their businesses – not just now but in the future. We’re looking forward to meeting up with all our partners. It’s going to be a great event.”
