Top Features

Volvo FMX with high ground clearance

Rear air suspension

This rear air suspension is specially developed for construction trucks. It offers ground clearance of at least 300 mm, and it’s tough enough to handle rough terrain. As a result, it gives a smoother ride, regardless of the road conditions or load. And both truck and cargo are protected.

Volvo FMX with automatic Traction Control

Automatic Traction Control

The Volvo FMX is available in a range of driven front axle configurations, from the capable 4×4 to the 10×6. All of them come as standard with Automatic Traction Control (ATC). It’s a revolutionary feature - making the truck easier to manoeuvre, while saving fuel and reducing wear.

Volvo FMX tandem axle lift wheels sideview

Tandem Axle Lift

Combines the traction and load capacity of four-wheel-drive with the driveability and efficiency of two-wheel-drive. Tandem Axle Lift is perfect when driving heavily loaded in one direction, and empty back again. After you've unloaded, push a button on the dashboard to disengage and raise the drive axle.
